ORDER NO. 17901 CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, CREATION OF KERR COUNTY HEALTH ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT, CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD & BRIDGE BUILDING AT SPUR 100, DESIGNATION OF OFFICE SPACE IN COURTHOUSE, AND AUTOMATION OF VARIOUS KERR COUNTY OFFICES On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commis- sioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holland, with Commis- sioners Holland and Ray and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Baldwin voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving the following items: 1. Contract for Environmental Health Services between Upper Guadalupe River Authority (U.G.R.A.) and Kerr County to be cancelled, effective 30 September 1988, provided the following conditions are met: a. Create the Kerr County Health Environment Department (K.C.H.E.D.) b. Responsibilities of K.C.H.E.D. - See Attach- ment #1 c. K.C.H.E.D. personnel be the same people as in the Health Environmental Services Division of U.G.R.A., subject to their acceptance. 2. Road & Bridge (R. & B.) Building to be constructed at the Spur 100 yard. Metal building to be at least 50' x 90' and designed for R. & B. and K.C.H.E.D. administration, and R. & B. mechanics. 3. Office space in the Courthouse to be assigned as per Judge Edwards' proposal - See Attachment #2, and 4. Automate Kerr County offices using the following schedule: a. June 1988 - J. P. Prec. 1 and J. P. Prec. 2 b. July 1988 - District Clerk and County Clerk c. October 1988 - Treasurer, Auditor and Sheriff d.
