COMMISSIONERS' COURT MET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON December 6, 1988 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., with the following officers present: County Judge Danny R. Edwards Commissioner Precinct 1, Fred Holland Commissioner Precinct 2, Bill Ray Commissioner Precinct 3, Victor Lich Commissioner Precinct 4, H. A. Baldwin and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: A Public Hearing on the Replat of Y. 0. Ranchlands I & II was held with 6 members of the public present at 10:00 o'clock A.M. -- Mary Ann Doggett addressed the Court in reference to the replat. She stated they had purchased tracts 66 and 67, and at that time there was only a possibility of 71 family units. They bought the tracts for privacy, seclusion, quietness and security and they were aware of smaller tracts, which was fine. Now with the addition of 118 family units, the character of the land and all the qualities they bought the land for will be gone and the price will be smaller. She ask that the Court reject the proposal of the replat. She had hoped to buy tract 65 for added quietness and security. Now, if the replat goes through, the noise level will increase, and the hunting factor is a great concern too. This will be a 40~ increase in lots in two (2) years. Mr. Menefee stated he did not think the Court could deny the replat based on the arguments. The Public Hearing was closed at 10:24 o'clock A. M. PAGE 97
