MOTION TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY JUDGE, DANNY EDWARDS,
TO WRITE A LETTER TO THF. STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
THAT THE COUNTY IS IN AGREEMENT WITH OUR OBLIGATION
OF 524,576.00 ON VERDE CREEK BRIDGE ON ELM PASS RORD
On this the 10th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved the County Judge, Danny R.
Edwards, to write a letter to the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation, in answer to their letter
of March 23, 1989, advising them we are in agreement with our
remaining obligation of 524,576.00 on Verde Creek Bridge on
Elm Pass Road.

sent the State a check for 10$ of this amount, which is $37,800.00.
The following is the estimated cost breakdown for the entire project.
The estimated total cost of the bridge and 150 ft. approaches that
have Federal participation is $210,389.00.
The total estimated cost of the 100$ County part is $20,298.00.
The total estimated cost to Kerr County is:
100$ X $ 20,298.00 = $20,298.00
20$ X $210,389.00 = $42,078.00
Total $62,376.00
