MOTION TO APPROVE MANDATED PROVIDER AGREEMENT
WITH THE MEDICINE SHOPPE
On this the 24th day of February 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court
unanimously approved the Mandated Provider Agreement between
The Medicine Shoppe and the County of Kerr and authorized
County Judge Edwards to sign the contract on behalf of the
County, effective February 23, 1989.

Dear Judge Edwards and Commissioner's Court,

Quite a few o.f. our patients have asked us if we honor the
"Indigent Health Care Prograt*.i" through the county, I under-
stand that only Revco and HEB are filling those prescriptions
at present. At this time I would like to formerly ask for
The Medicine Stop to be included on the list of eligible
Pharmacies, Our prices are in line with the other stores
however the main reason is alot of these indigents are on
foot and this would provide an outlet on the East side o.f
town. It would be one more way for the County govt to
spread goodwill at no expense.
