ORDER NO. 19229 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION CONCERNING LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY RIMROCK TRANSFORMER YARD On this the 22nd day of November 1989, upon motion made by Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the Court unanimously approved the following resolution: R E S O L U T I O N MHEREAS: the Lower Colorado River Authority's proposed plan to construct a four (4) acre transformer yard (Rimrock) and 138.000 volt transmission line through residential areas containing one hundred and three (103) homes, and, MHEREAS: the Lower Colorado River Authority owns, and has prepared, and fenced an existing substation site on Texas Highway 16, South (Riverhill), and, WHEREAS: the Lower Colorado River Authority proposes to acquire easements and construct transmission lines through residential property from the proposed Rimrock transformer yard to the Riverhill transformer yard, and, NOM THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Kerr County Commissioners Court recommends that the Lower Colorado River Authority and the Kerrville Public Utility Board use the Public Right-Of-Way located in conjunction with Texas Highway 16 as the corridor for the transmission lines between the transformer yards, Stadium and Riverhill, and eliminate the request for the proposed Rimrock transformer yard.
