MOTION TO APPROVE HIRING OF NANCY C. MARTZ
TO REPLACE DORIS HENDERSON IN
COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE
On this the 5th day of January 1969, upon motion made by
Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, with
Commissioner's Baldwin, Holekamp and Morgan, and County Judge
Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray voting "NAY", said
motion to approve the hiring of Nancy C. Martz in the County
Clerk's office, effective January 1, 1989, to replace Doris
Henderson passed by a majority vote.
Nancy C. Martz will start at Pay Group 10, Step 1, $1?.,109.00
annually, $1,009.08 monthly, $504.54 semi-monthly, with a
possibility of a merit increase effective July 1, 1989 which
will make her Pay Group 10, Step 2, $12,411.00 annually,
$1,034.25 monthly and $517.13 semi-monthly.

Doris J. Henderson Deputy Clerk in Microfilming Department is
retiring effective December 31, 1988 with 21 years and 8 months
service with Kerr County. She is a lOJ6 annual salary $13,699. -~
It is with regret that I accept her resignation. Her efficiency and
thoroughness will be missed. Her letter of resignation is enclosed.

Effective January.l, 1989 Nancy C. Martz will replace Doris in the
Microfilming Department January 1, 1989 at 10/1 which is $12,109
annual salary. I would like to give a one step merit raise in
April, 1989, if I see the work merits it. That would be 10/2
c,,~ith annual salary of $12, 411.
Nancy C. Martz has been working parttime in Vital Statistics since
October 3, 1988. This knowledge will help her a great deal in
filming.
