IN THE CO[JNTY CLERK'S OFFICE
On this the 27th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, with
Commissioner's Holekamp, Baldwin and Morgan voting "AYE", and
Commissioner Ray votiny "NAY", and Judye Edwards "ABSTAINING"
said motion to approve the reinstatement of Peggy Tindle in
the County Clerk's Office, effective April 21, 1989 at Pay
Group 11, Step 1, $12,721.00 annually, $1,060.09 monthly, and
$530.04 semi-monthly, was approved by a majority vote.

MOTION TO APPROVE. COMMISSIONER HOLEKAMP TO WRITE
A LETTER TO ALI. ELECTED OFFICIALS AND DEPARTMENT
HEADS ON NEW HIRING PRACTICES
On this the 27th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved Commissioner Holekamp to write a
letter to all elected officials and department heads that
effective today no hiring shall be effective until such time
that the hiring has been approved by Commissioners' Court,
and the following information has been furnished to the
Court, prior to employment, pursuant to the personnel policy:

1. The actual application for employment. along with
any letters of recommendation;
2. The written physical report signed by the Doctor,
and;
3. The Workman's Comp. inquiry report.. (Verbal to
Department Head, and followed up by written
request.)

Court unanimously approved to adjourn.
