OF THE PEACE, PRECINCT #4, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 31, 1989
On this the 22nd day of November 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved the resignation of Sohn P. Hill ae
Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 4, effective December 31,
1989.

I have petitions signed by 1100 plus citizens requesting me
to run again for Justice of the Peace in spite of all the unfair
and adverse publicity. I also have a number of Precinct 4 voters
petitioning me to run for another office where they think I can
serve the community better.
I have served the citizens of Kerr County for fourteen years
as Justice of the Peace at a sacrifice to my personal businesses.
I have gotten up all hours of the tli.gtlt for inauests, accidents,
emergency commitments and to magistrate people in fail who either
had to be on the fob the next morning or lose their fob. I have
been given credit for cleaning up Old Ingram ~,~here fights, knifings
and shootings were a regular part of the scene. Dven one of the
Judges preceding me, his son and daughter-in-law were murdered in
cold blood.
I hereby give notice of my resignation as Justice of the Peace
Precinct 4 effective December 31, 1989,
