Commissioner i3aldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved the appointment of Guy M. Penick
as Deputy Sheriff in the Kerr County Sheriff's Office
effective November 1, 1989, at Pay Group 17, Step 1,
$17,109.00 annually, $1,425.75 monthly, $712.88 semi-monthly.

I have hired Guy Penick as a Deputy Sheriff. Mr. Penick's starting
salary will be $1,425.75 mo.,step/grade: 17/1. Mr. Penick will begin
November 1, 1989. Mr. Penick has had the required TCLEOSE physical,
psyco., and drug screen tests.
This position will fill the extra/pogi~~on that the Court gave the
Sheriff's Department in the new budget.
