MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIRING OF' SARA SMITH AS
JAILER/DISPATCHER IN THE KERR COUNTY JAIL
On this the 6th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved the hiring of Sara Smith as
Jailer/Dispatcher in the Kerr County Sheriff's Office,
effective April 3, 1989, Pay Group 13, Step 1, $14,092.00
annually, 51,170.17 monthly, and 5585.08 semi-monthly.

As of this date, I have hired Ruben T. Rodriguez as a jailer, his
beginning salary will be $1,170.17 per month, pay/step 13/1.
As of 3/31/89, i have hired Raymond Ernest Strade as a jailer, his
beginning salary will be $1,170.17 per month, pay/step 13/1.
Jennie T. Norris has been hired as a jailer, her beginning date
will be April 17, 1969 with a salary of $1,170.17 per month, pay/step
13/1. Mrs. Norris is a LVN and will be helping us set up our
medical record proceddres in the jail also.

Sara Smith has been hired as a jailer/dispatcher, her beginning
date of employment will be. Monday, April 3, 1989. Her salary will
be $1,170.17 per month, pay/step 1371.
These are the four positions that the commissioners court authorized
me to hire 3/13/89.
