Commissioner Ray presented a report by the Office Space
Comtnittee and a discussion was held on possible solutions and
alternatives to the jail overcrowding. The following were
all agreed on, but no action was taken:
I. Sheriff's Office needs to be close to the jail.
The closing of the underground parking was discussed.
II. Need for the Juvenile Detention Facility away from its
present site.
III. Move Juvenile Detention Facility to Schreiner Street
Yard and move Mechanic Shop at Schreiner Street Yard to
Spur 100.
IV. Need to locate a place for misdemeanor offenders.
Mike Walker presented a proposal to do a facilities analysis
of buildings and property owned by Kerr County.
1~ S 6~'L John Whitehead, Kerr County Environmental Health, gave a
monthly report.

Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Ray, the
Court unanimously approved to adjourn.
