DATA FOR INSURANCE BID SUBMISSION
On this the 27th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court
unanimously approved furnishing Texas Employers' Casualty
Insuranr_e Company with experience rating data for insurance
bid submission.

MOTION TO APPROVE RESOLUTION TO CONGRESS TO
EXEMPT STATF, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS FROM THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 89 OF THE INTERNAL
REVENUE CODE
On this the 27th day of April 1989, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Ray, the
Court unanimously approved a Resolution to Congress to exempt
State and Local Governments from the provisions of section 89
of the Internal Revenue Code, which imposes detailed plan
qualification and ZRS reporting requirements on a wide range
of employee benefit plans, including all health and life
insurance.
