l 8s ~ 3. l COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on August 4, 1989 at 10:10 o'clock A.M. with all members present, and the Court having duly opened the following proceedings were had: The Architectual Consultant Team of Maxey & Associates and Mike Walker gave an update on their expansion proposal for the jail. They gave Kerr County five options to consider. Commissioners' Court will meet in a workshop on Tuesday, August 8, 1989 to consider the options and will meet again with Maxey & Associates and Mike Walker on Friday, August 11, 1989. COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED at 12:00 noon until 1:30 P. M. COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION at 1:30 o'clock P.M. with all members present, and the Court having duly opened the following proceedings were had: ORDER NO. 18874 MOTION TO ACCEPT THE BID OF RECORD SYSTEMS INC. FOR MOVEABLE SHELVING FOR THE COUNTY LAW LIBRARY WITH $6,500.00 PAID IN ROUTINE BUDGET AND $3,580.00 DELAYED UNTIL NEXT BUDGET YEAR On this the 4th day of August 1989, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Judge Edwards, with Commissioner Ray and Judge Edwards voting "AYE", and Commissioner's Morgan, Holekamp and Baldwin voting "NAY", said motion to accept the bid of Record Systems Inc. for $7,000.00 for four shelves and to purchase an additional two shelves for a total price of $10,080.00 for the County Law Library, with $6,500.00 paid in routine budget and 53,580.00 delayed until next budget year failed two to three.
