~yq~b•1 The workshop portion of the Commissioners' Court was held at 6:07 o'clock P.M. Commissioner Morgan said he spoke with Mario Sanchez, Architect with the Texas Historical Commissioner in Austin, about the possibility of placing concrete laterally over the ground and building jail cells along both sides of the Annex and placing stone matching the old courthouse on the outside. Mr. Sanchez said it might be acceptable as long as it preserves the looks and is not on the lawn. Mike Walker said this option has not been explored. He will try and get some figures together on how and what we can do, and how much we can get in space, beds and the cost and report back to the Court on August 25, 1989. Commissioner's Holekamp, Morgan and Baldwin said they want a bond election and not certificates of obligation. ORDER NO. 1$929 MOTION TO ADJOURN On this the 14th day of August 1989, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved to adjourn.
