The Court discussed charging an additional $5.00 road & bridge fee on license plates. Commissioner Holekamp stated he was against the additional fee while Commissioner Ray said he was for the fee. Commissioner Morgan said he would be for it if the fee was labeled for specific projects. A discussion was held on the County Budget for 1989-1990 and all the Commissioners said they would probably not vote for a deficit budget. Commissioner Ray said he would not vote for a tax raise or taking money from surplus. Maybe he would vote for a small tax increase if it was necessary.
