COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED at 9:45 A.M. and RECONVENED AT 10:00 A. M. at Municipal Auditorium for a public hearing on the proposed operating budget for Kerr County for the fiscal year beginning October- 1, 1989 through September 30, 1990. The following officers were present: ..,. Danny R. Edwards, County Judge R. Gordon Morgan, Commissioner Precinct 1 Bill Ray, Commissioner Precinct 2 Glenn Holekamp, Commissioner Precinct 3 H. A. Baldwin, Commissioner Precinct 4 There were 87 members of the public present, plus various elected officials of Kerr County. County Judge Edwards opened the public hearing at 10:00 A. M. and welcomed everyone. He explained there was a delay in the filing of the proposed budget and nothing official could take place until after the filing time of 10:55 A.M. Any changes to the budget_ could not be done at the auditorium, but must be done at the Courthouse, and would require three votes. Judge Edwards also stated that this was the Commissioner's budget and not his, and was a courageous budget on the part of the Commissioner's, as they are increasing taxes and cutting employees. COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED THE PLJBLIC HEARING at 1:25 P.M. and RECONVENED IN OPEN SESSION IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, KERR COUNTY COtJRTHOUSF, at 1:30 P.M. with all officers present. /Q/0~ Bids were opened for road work on Keith Boulevard.
