With the engineer position vacant due to Jerry's leaving, no one is available to perform floodplain duties. As a temporary measure, I would ask the Commissioners Court to designate me as a floodplain administer for the purposes of issuing certificates of compliance in conjunction with septic system permitting. For your information attached is a copy of the certificate of compliance used in the permitting process.
