Re: PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IN THE VICINITY
OF CONTOUR DRIVE, KERRVILLE SOUTH
Accompanying this letter are eight (8) copies of a map showing preliminary
locations for sanitary sewers in Loma Vista Addition, Loyal Valley Mobile Home
Yark, Oak Grove Addition and Oak Grove Mobile Homes. I have highlighted the
various areas for clarification. ,
Estimated connections -
- Contour Drive "pilot" project 43
- remainder of Loma Vista 96
- Oak Grove (single family) 4
- Oak Grove Mobile Homes 60
- Loyal Valley Mobile Homes 125
Total Potential Connections 328
This number is greatly in excess of the present 150 connections allowable by the
City of Kerrville. This could be resolved if some areas decline to participate.
Another possibility would be to install another main to suppliment the existing
6" main in Riverhill along Highway No. 16, which is the basis for the City'
limitation of 150 connections. The cost for the supplimental main could be
prorated among the potential system subscribers.
Please be aware that the feasibility of the project will be dependent upon
the acquistion of easements for access to the areas to be served outside of
streets.
I have not prepared an itemized estimate for the remainder of the areas to
be served after the pilot project; however, if desired, Z can prepare it
quite timely.
My Engineer's Estimate for the various areas under consideration is attached.
