On motion made by Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the Court unanimously approved on the Road Engineer Gerald Menefee's recommendation, to extend the River Crest Subdivision Letter of Credit for three (3) years, subject to the proper paperwork being received and the County Attorney's approval. The roads in the subdivision will be subject to the 1990 road specifications. Honorable Commissioners, I am writing to clarify my intentions concerning River Crest subdivision. Being as we have already built two homes on lots 7&8, we feel at this time that it would be in our best interest to leave the plat, status in quo. I have discussed several options at length with the county road engineer and may consider other alternatives at a later date. But for the time being we desire only for an extention to complete the paving of the road, for to proceed with the paving at this time would be futile, as no one would be driving on said road. Developer has deposited (or herewith deposits) subject to the order of developer and trustee jointly as provided in the agreement in the First National Bank of Kerrville, Kerrville, Texas, the sum of $6,760.05 for the purpose of construction site improvements in River Crest subdivision in Kerr County, Texas for the benefit of the public represented by Kerr County, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
