Establish a volunteer management system to include a) development of volunteer assignment descriptions and volunteer application forms, b) development of a volunteer policy and procedures manual, c) design an orientation and training program for volunteer , recruiting volunteers, training volunteers, and assigning volunteers where needed, d) speak to groups and organizations in the community, e) evaluate the volunteer management system, f) provide reports of weekly activities to supervisor, and g) plan and coordinate annual volunteer recognition event. . 2. Develop and initiate long-range funding strategies to include a) work with agency staff to determine agency needs, b) develop agency statements and brochures, c) identify and meet with potential resource donors to solicit support, d) train locally- trained volunteers to assist with fundraising activities, e) coordinate a direct mail campaign to reach 1000 potential resource donors, f) submit a minimum of 9 proposals/ grants to various funding organizations, and g) develop a "how to" manual on fundraising and grantwriting for new personnel, board members, and volunteers. 7.
