FEE FOR CONFERENCE
On this the 22nd day of February 1990, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved to pay the 550.00 registration fee
for Linda Uecker, District Clerk, to attend a conference for
County law librarians.
The County Treasurer and the County Auditor are hereby
authorized 20 draw a voucher on Line Ii:em No. 18-650-485,
Conference Expense, for 550.00 made payable to GSLIS CE Fund
(Graduate School of Library and Information Science) to pay
the registration fee for the conference.
/937/ The Court discussed with the Animal Welfare Society that the
County will be following Comal County's animal contract and
utilize the veterinarians for boarding of animals and only
right we make the Kerrville Animal Wel2are Society aware of
our intentions, as per contract, with the, which calls for a
two (2) year notice in order to terminate the contract.
Cost in Coma, County of boarding comparable number of animals
is between 58000.00 - S10,000.00 whereas current contract
will necessitate us paying 517,000.00 far the same services
and we can therefore save the ta:cpayers 57,000.00 or
58,000.00 by utilizing the veterinarians for boarding.
