Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 that the
resignation and declination oŁ W. C. Klein, Jr., Justice oŁ
the Peace, Prec. #5, oŁ Kerr County, Texas be ratified and
confirmed, effective November 27, 1990.

Dear Commissioners' Court:
I am the duly elected Justice of the Peace for Precinct 5 of Kerr County.
As a result of the November general election, I was elected for another term.
This will serve as my notice to you, under Chapter 201 of the Texas
Election Code, that I have decided to resign as Justice of the Peace and decline
to qualify and serve the term that begins in January.
Please place this matter on the next agenda of the Court for acceptance
of both my resignation and my declination. I would further request that a
successor be appointed to fill my unexpired term during the same agenda
since, under the Texas Constitution, I am required to serve until my successor
is appointed and qualified for office. If you would like me to appear, please
let me know the date and time that you have set for the consideration of this
request.
