APPROVAL OF CONFIRMATION RESOLUTION FOR STATE
PURCHASING PARTICIPATION
On this the 9th day oŁ October 1990, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unaniwouely approved by a vote of 5 to 0 to approve the
confirmation resolution for State Purchasing participatlon on
the fallowing contracts:
015-A1, 225-A1, 285-A1, 395-A1, 600-A3, 600-A8, 600-A9,
608-A1, 609-A1, 640-A1, 645-A1, 655-A1, and 665-A1.
COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED at 11:58 A. M.
COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED at 1:31 P. M. with all
officers present.
Gerald Menefee, County Road Engineer, told the Court that
Walter Masters, Masters Construction, signed a waiver
declining to appear before the Court on the awarding of the
bid on Spicer Road to the second lowest bidder, and he does
not object to the awarding of the bid.

CONFIRMATION OF RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
On this the 9th day of October 1990, came on to be considered
by the Court a Resolution in support of the Texas Department
of Highways and Public Transportation urging the 72nd
Legislature to address the problem of diminishing highway
construction funds and take such action as necessary to
assure that sufficient funds are available over the next
decade to meet the mobility needs oŁ the people of Texas.
