A discussion followed on the petitions presented to the Court
for the Ingram Rural Fire Prevention District Number 1. The
County Clerk and the Tax Assessor-Collector stated the
petitions did contain at least 100 signatures of people who
are taxpayers and are registered voters. The County Clerk,
Patrica Dye, reported that because the petitions stated metes
and bounds as attached hereto, the entire metes and bounds
must be published in the notice. The Sheriff must post and
publish the notice oŁ public hearing twenty-one (21) days
before the hearing and the notice must run once a week for
two (2) weeks in the local newspaper.

SE"CTING OF DATE FOR PUBLIC HEAF?ING UN THE
FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION
On this the 1st day oŁ March 1990, after verification from
the County Clerk and County Tax Assessor/Collector that the
petitions presented to the Court on Thursday, February 22,
1990 contained sufficient signatures oŁ registered voters and
taxpayers, and in accordance with The Health and Safety Code,
Chapter 794.015, Commissioners' Court set, a Public Hearing on
the Fire District Election for Thursday, April 26, 1990 at
1:30 P. M.
Motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner
Morgan and unanimously approved by the Court.
