A discussion followed on the petitions presented to the Court for the Ingram Rural Fire Prevention District Number 1. The County Clerk and the Tax Assessor-Collector stated the petitions did contain at least 100 signatures of people who are taxpayers and are registered voters. The County Clerk, Patrica Dye, reported that because the petitions stated metes and bounds as attached hereto, the entire metes and bounds must be published in the notice. The Sheriff must post and publish the notice oŁ public hearing twenty-one (21) days before the hearing and the notice must run once a week for two (2) weeks in the local newspaper.
