~93a8.~ COMMISSIONERS" COURT' CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on Monday, March 5, 1990 at 1:30 P. M. with all officers present, except H. A. Baldwin, Commissioner Precinct #4, and the Court having duly opened the following proceedings were had: The proposals received from the two architects, Michael Neal Walker and Ben A. Terry, were discussed, along with the response received from Mr. Stevenson. The Court decided that Bill Ray and Glenn Holekamp would call the three architects mentioned above and walk through Juvenile Detention with them this week for a cost estimate on repair work. ORDER NO. 19389 ACCEPTANCE OF THE INSURANCE PROPOSAL FROM ANCO, INSURANCE, BRYAN, TEXAS, AGENT FOR U. S. FIRE INSURANCE AND FIREMAN'S FUND INSURANCE FOR COVERAGE FOR KERR COUNTY On this the 5th day of March 1990, upon motion made by "' Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioner's Morgan, Ray and Holekamp voting "AYE", and Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING", said motion to accept the insurance proposal from Anco Insurance, Bryan, Texas, agent for U. S. Fire Insurance and Fireman's Fund Insurance, for Fire, Extended Coverage, Vandalism and Malicious Mischief, Special Extended Coverage (excluding theft) and vehicle and equipment coverage, was approved by a majority vote. /9384• A discussion of the Childrens Trust Fund Grant with Dr. Hall followed. He said when the State received the grant request they were not satisfied with the fact that the administrator would not be paid, so they upped the grant to 574,690.00. He said the program has been even more successful than than they expected, with a list of people waiting to be admitted to the program. PAGE 761
