ORDER NO. 19473 AUTHORIZATION FOR GERALD MENEFEE, ROAD ENGINEER, 'I'O ADVERTISE FOR SEALEU BIDS FOR PAVING MATERIAL On this the 19th day oŁ April 1990, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Ray, the Court unanimously approved for Gerald Menefee, Road Engineer, to advertise for sealed bids for paving material. Bids are to be received in the Office of the County Clerk until Thursday, May 10, 1990 at 5:00 P. M. and publicly opened at the kegular Commissioners' Court meeting of Monday, May 14, 1990. 1Gf73• ~ Gerald Menefee, Road Engineer, addressed the Court about a new maintenance facility. He ask the Court if the facility would be linked with the jail package or considered as a separate package. He would like to go out. for bids as soon as possible so he could commit the funds by budget time. He will draw up drawings of a 50 foot by 60 foot building with a pull thru with three bays and submit them to the Court for approval in May. ~'va s. z Mr. Duke Larson appeared before the Court to ask to keep his garage and foundation in Kerr County Right of Way. Mr. Menefee, Road Engineer, and David Motley, County Attorney, have given Mr. Larson until May 15, 1990 to remove said garage and foundation. Mr. Motley is concerned iŁ an accident occurs on the corner and someone hits Mr. Carson's garage that the County will be liable since the garage is located on County property, and he would like the structure moved. Commissioner's Morgan and Holekamp would like to drive out, look at the property and do some research to verify the structure is actually on Kerr County Right oŁ Way.
