A discussion was held on the jail proposals received.
Commissioner Morgan said he had selected three of the
proposals that he would like to talk with the companies
before any decisions were made.
Judge Edwards said he considered the whole thing a waste of
~~ounty time and money. The Court is going against the jail
committee, the Court appointed architect and Maxey b
Associates.
Commissioner Holekamp said he had selected Phillips Swager
Associates, Dallas, Texas, Christopher Di Stefano, Houston,
Texas, and Edward R. Gondeck Architect, Inc., San Antonio,
Texas, and would like to visit with these three.
Commissioner Baldwin selected Phillips Swager Associates,
Dallas, Texas, Christopher Di Stefano, Houston, Texas and the
Daugherity/Bundy Group, Wichita Falls, Texas. Commissioner's
Ray and Morgan said their three were among those selected by
Commissioner's Holekamp and Baldwin.
Commissioner Morgan is to contact the four companies selected
and request they visit with the Court on Thursday, May 10, or
"" Friday, May 11. Commissioner Holekamp said he would like to
have an architect selected by May 23, 1990.

MOTION TU ADJOURN
On this the 3rd day of May 1990, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court
unanimously approved to adjourn.
