COMMISSIONERS" COURT RECESSED at 1:42 P. M. and OPENED IN A WORKSHOP on Animal Control and an update on Contour Drive Sewer Project. Commissioner Baldwin reported he had visited with a ~~3 43.3 commissioner from Comal County who said the only problem with their animal control program was finding the right person to deal with the animals, the public and the Court. They have now found the right man and are very happy with the whole program. Judge Edwards said the contract was created on a statue that has been repealed. Anything the Court passes has got to comply with the new statues regardless of what Comal County has. He suggested taking the contract to the County Attorney for a decision on meeting the new statues. The Commissioners agreed. i9 505,) David Litke, Head of Kerr County Environmental Health, gave an update on the Contour Drive Sewer Project. He did a "' survey of the residents on Contour Drive to see if they were interested in hooking onto the line. Six or seven people have responded and all said yes. Next phase is to tell them how much it will cost them, which will be approximately 53000.00 to 57000.00 per unit. Mr. Litke still has a few details to work out before he can appear before the Court and say this is the way we should approach the sewer hookups.
