WHEREAS: The Creation oŁ the CEN-TEX Certified
Development Gompany is to strengthen the
economic growth of this county and a 34
county region in the Mate oŁ Texas;
WHEREAS: The goal of the CEN-TEX CDG is to increase
employment, by providing long-term fixed
asset financing for the expansion and
modernization of small businesses in Central
Te:tas; and
WHEREAS: The objectives of the CEN-TEX CUC are to
provide direct assistance to our area businesses
and contribute to the developme=nt of a stable
and diverse economy;
NOW THEkEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE County Commissioners
of Kerr County endorses and supports the formation of the
CEN-TEX Certified Development Company and its objectives.

On this the 31st day of May 1950, upon motion made by
Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the

Court unanimously approved that a special Election be called
for August 11, 1950 for election precincts 4, 5, and 6 and
some of elec±ion precinct 1 (Bear Paw Ranch, and that
ballots shall be printed to provide for voting for or
against:
"The creation of Kerr County Fire Prevention District ~I1 and
the levy oŁ annual taxes at a rate not to exceed 3 cents on
each 5100.00 valuation oŁ all taxable property in the
district."

On this the 3.Lst day of May 1990, upon motion made by

Road 8 Bridge Department effective June 1, 1590 at Pay Group

the County Clerk's Office effective June 1, 1990 at Pay Group
