On this the 9th day of October 1990, upon motion made by
Judge Edwards, seconded by Commissloner Holekamp, the Court
unanimously approved by a vote o1 5 to 0 to give the 4% cost
of 1lving increase to seven (7) elected officials who did not
appear before the salary grievance committee. The seven (7)
elected officials are:

MOTION TO RECEIVE THE REPORT OF THE SALARY
GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
On this the 9th day of October 1990, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Judge Edwards, with
Commissioner's Holekamp, Morgan and Baldwin, and Judge
Edwards voting "AYE", and Commissioner Ray voting "NAY", said
motion to receive the report of the Salary Grievance
Committee was approved by ^ majority vote of 4 to 1.

JUDGE EDWARDS left at 1:54 P. M. and Chairman Pro Tem Baldwin
r chaired the meeting.
Sheriff Kaiser addressed the Court in reference to the seven
(7) to tvo t2> vote by the Salary Grievance Committee to
increase her salary. Commissioner Baldwin said he had called
several people in his precinct for their opinion and it was
nine t9) to zero (0) against the increase. Commissioner Ray
said he thought the request was reasonable, but he would not
vote for it. The four (4) Commissioner's were all against
the increase.

Court unanimoumly approved by a vote of 5 to 0 to approve the
hiring of Jacque Speck as secretary in the Kerr County
Sheriff's Office, effective October 1, 1990 at Pay Group 12,
Step 2, 914, 247.00 annually, 91, 187.25 monthly, and S593. 62
semi-monthly.
