They wanted to know if the diagram presented on Monday was to be implemented or if the committee was still studying the plan. They said the Sheriff's Uffice was the only issue presented on Monday, and that several of the offices need room to expand also. Paula kector, Tax Assessor/Collector, said she had heard that the back of her office was being considered as a possible place to put another office. She said she will have new equipment placed in t,er office after the first of the year which will connect her directly with the records in Austin. At that time new security measures will be placed in effect, either a new security alarm system or a guard at night. There will be new special locks placed on all her doors with a tight control over who will have keys and access to her office. PAGE 75 David Motley, County Attorney, told the Court that he has "` five full time and one part-time person working in an office space of 601 square feet. They desperately need additional space and would like for the Court to consider this before the lease on the property expires January 31, 1991.
