STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF KERR X AGREEMENT WHEREAS, The Kerr County Education District is required to hold a Special Election on August 10, 1991 regarding taxation issues and WHEREAS, The Kerr County Clerk is required to hold an election on August 10, 1991, regarding certain Constitutional Amendments, and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public that the elections be jointly administered and the parties hereto desire to do so; Now, THEREFORE, it is herby agreed that: 1. Kerr County agrees to furnish five Election Judges, one at each polling place and an additional Election Judge for the Absentee Ballot Board for the Kerrville Independent School District and 2. Ingram Independent School District, Center Point Independent School District, Kerrville Independent School District, Divide Inde- pendent School District, and Medina Independent School District agree to pay one-half of the salaries of each Election Judge serving in their respective districts and 3. Each school district shall provide two election clerks and/or pay the salary for two clerks to serve in each polling place within their district and 4. Kerrville Independent School District shall provide four elec- tion clerks and/or pay the salary for four clerks to serve at the Kerr- ville Municipal Auditorium on Election Day and 5. Kerr County shall provide at least two election clerks at each polling place, in addition to an Election Judge, as provided above, and 6. Kerr County shall provide four clerks for Absentee Voting to serve at the Municipal Auditorium from July 22, 1991 through August 6, 1991. 7. Kerrville Independent School District shall provide two clerks and/or pay the salary for two clerks during Absentee Voting Period. This agreement will be effective when the governing body of each of the parties has agreed to and approved this agreement.
