Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Court UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED
BY A VOTE OF 4-0-0, to appropriate $25,000.00 from Line Item # 13-613-586,
Road and Bridge Additional Registration Fee, Special Projects. Should
there be any refunds from the State or excess it will be returned to
the special projects funds.

RE Lane Valley Construction Cost
When the budget for Lane Valley Bridge was done there were some
unforeseen cost.
The Court budgeted $85,000 for the State and the payment was $90,159.
In order for the State to construct a new bridge, Kerr County must
construct both high and low water bypass roads. We are now in the
process of this construction and the major cost we expect to incur are for
base material and fencing.
The estimated cost for completion of the Lane Valley project:
Base material for high and low water roads $12,000
Fencing across the Guadalupe river not in 6,500
the Highway Department contract
Miscellaneous (gates, filing fees, etc.) 1,000
Deficit from State construction 5,159
Contingencies (unforeseen) 5,341
We ask the Court to appropriate $30,000 to complete this project. These
funds should come from the registration fees for special projects and be
placed in line item number 13-613-586 Should there be any refunds from
the State or excess it will be returned to the special projects fund.
