MEMO TO: Commissioner's Court FROM: Franklin Johnston, P.E. ,County Engineer DATE: July 16, 1991 RE: Purchase of Culverts from Road and Bridge The Road & Bridge Department ask the Commissioner's Court to allow us to sell culvert pipes (at cost) to individuals for driveway construction. The policy now is that the citizen furnish the pipe, have it on site, and then call us for installation. By having the culvert available at the time the crew is ready to do the job, we could set up work orders more effectively. The money would be paid in advance to Road & Bridge and these monies would be deposited back into the culvert budget line item (15-611-554).
