BASED ON RECOMMENDATION OF THE ROAD ENGINEER
AND ROAD ADMINISTRATOR, MOTION TO CANCEL THE
ORDER OF TWO (2) CAT LOADERS
Dn this the 10th day of June 1991, Commissioner Oehler made a
motion, based on the recommendation of the Road Engineer and
Road Administrator, to cancel the order for two (2) CAT
Loaders from Holt of San Antonio, Texas, as the delivery of
the loaders has passed the deadline for delivery.
Commissioner Lackey seconded the motion. During discussion
Commissioner Morgan made a substitute motion that we cancel
the order with Holt of San Antonio, Texas if the two (2)
loaders are not delivered and in Kerrville, Texas by June 24,
1991, which was seconded by Commissioner Holekamp. Judge
Stacy called for a vote on the substitute motion, Order Ho.
20311. Commissioner's Morgan and Holekamp voted "AYE", and
Commissioner's Oehler and Lackey voted "NAY", and the vote
was tied. Judge Stacy, after consideration, cast his vote as
"AYE" for the substitute motion, Order No. 20311 and based on
that action Commissioner Oehler rithdreM his motion.

On December 27, 1990, Holt of San Antonio was awarded a bid for two (2)
small 910E CAT loaders to be delivered within ninety (90) days, for a total price of
X97,900.04.
As of today, one huncted and sixty (160) days later, they have not been
delivered.
We ask that you cancel the order.

On this the 27th day of December 1990, upon motion made by
Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the
Court unanimously approved by a vot• of 4-0-0 to purchase two
<2) small loaders and to award the bid for the loaders to
Holt, San Antonio, Texas. Holt will deliver two (2) small
' 910E Cats with one spare tire to Kerr County Road & Bridge
within ninety ( 90 ) days, for a total price of 597, 900.04.
