AUTHORIZATION FOR A FULLY VESTED EMPLOYEE,
ES'IHER R. GARZA, BEING PLACED ON THE COUNTY
RETIREMENT SYSTEM
On this the 11th day of March 1991 came on to be considex-ed
by the Court the placing of Esther R. Garza, a regular
part-time employee, on the County Retirement system. it was
determx.ned that Mrs. Garza has completed ten (10) years with
the County as a lull time employee prior to becoming a
regular part-time employee, and is fully vested in the
retix-ement system. Therefore on motion made by Commissioner
Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the Court
unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 to place Esther k.
Garza on the County Retirement System.

Esther F2. Garza worked for the county for 10 years as a
full time employee. She was on retirement during those
years. She has been working part time and has been on
retirement until recently when the Commissioners' Court
changed this.
Esther has been working for me for several years and is
the part time employee that is filling a full time position.
I feel she should be allowed to be on retirement as she is
a permanent full time employee. She sure hates to lose
this retirement. '
I understand that a precedent has already been set as
another part time employee is on retirement.
Anything you cari do would greatly be appreciated.
Paula Esquivel is filling a permanent part time position in
Filming Department. She has worked with me since 1987.
I feel she deserves to be on retirement also.
