APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP AND FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE
The un<fersigned (hereinafter called the "Applicant") hereby applies for membership in, and agrees to purchase
electric energy from the Central Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. (hereinafter called the "Cooperative") upon
the following terms and conditions:
1. The Applicant will pay to the Cooperative the sum of $25.00 which, if this application is accepted
by the Cooperative, will constitute the Applicant's membership fee.
2. the Applicant will, when electric energy becomes available, purchase from the Cooperative all electric
energy used from a single consuming facility on the premises described herein and will pay therefore monthly
at rates to be determined from time to time in accordance with the by-laws of the Cooperative; provided, however,
[hat [he Cooperative may limit the amount of electric energy to be furnished. Nothing herein shall prohibit
the consumer from using his wholly owned generating facilities including solar, wind, and biomass, in accordance
with Cooperative policy. The Applicant will pay the monthly minimum bill charged by the Cooperative in accordance
with its published rate for the type of service used by the Applicant, or as established by special contract,
regardless of the riuniber of kilowatt hours consumed.
3. The Applicant will cause his premises to be wired in accordance with wiring specifications approved
by the Cooperative. The Applicant's house is approxiniaiely 1 0 0 feet from the nearest public road.
4. The Applicant will comply with and be bound by the provisions of the certificate of incorporation and
by-laws of the Cooperative, and such rules and regulations as may from time to time be adapted by the Cooperative.
5. The Applicant, by paying a membership fee and becoming a member, assumes no personal liability or
responsibility for any debts or liabilities of the Cooperative, and it is expressly understood that under the
law, his private property cannot be attached for any such debts or liabilities.
The acceptance of this application by the Cooperative shall constitute an agreement between the Applicant
and the Cooperative, and the contract for electric service shall continue in force from the date service is
made available by the Cooperative to the Applicant, and thereafter until terminated in accordance with law,
Public Utility Commission of Texas rules, or approved service rules and regulations of the Cooperative.

APPLICATION FOR ELECTRIC SERVILE

The undersigned (hereinafter called the "Member") hereby makes application for electric service at the
address given on the premises described in this application to the Central Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc.
(hereinafter called the "Cooperative"), and agrees to pay the same as measured by the Cooperative's meter
according to rate applicable. If service is disconnected for non-payment, a trip fee of E15.00 plus the amount
due for utility service will be collected by the Cooperative before electric service will be restored.
The Member agrees to permit authorized agents of the Cooperative free access to the premises of the Member
far the purposes of connecting, inspecting, testing, reading, replacing or removing the meter or other property
of the Cooperative, and the Member expressly agrees not to permit anyone other than authorized agents of the
Cooperative to remove its seals for same.
The Cooperative sfrall have the right, but shall not be obligated to inspect any installation before electric
service i5 introduced, or at any later time, and reserves the right to reject any wiring or appliances not in
accordance with Cooperative's standards. The customer shall have the duty and obligation to insure that all
wiring on his premises is installed and maintained in accordance with the National Electrical Safety Code, and/or
wiring specifications of the Cooperative.
The Plember agrees that this application is subject to the Cooperative's Rules and Regulations, a copy of
which is open for inspection at the office of the Cooperative, and that these Rules and Regulations are a part
of this agreement.
~Lustomer agrees that the rate applicable to customer shall be in accordance with the utility's standard
tariff schedules in effect for like condition of service to the class of service which customer is a part.
If the class of service furnished hereunder is changed by the utility, or by order or consent of any regulatory
authority having jurisdiction thereof whether or not at the request of the Cooperative, such changed Cariff
and/or redefined class of service shall be applicable to service and energy provided hereunder from and after
the effective date of such change.
