Commissioner Holelcamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 that the
resignation oŁ Richard Cook, Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County,
Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective March 15, 1991.
Deputy Cook has the following holiday, vacation and comp.
time due him:
15 hours comp. time at straight pay
88 hours holiday time
14 1/2 hours vacation time.

Dear Sheriff Kaiser:
With sincere regret, this is to inform you of my resignation of employment
with Kerr County Sheriff's Department to be effective 15 March 1991.
I desire, tomorrow, S March 91, to be my last working day and request to
use accrued time to be off from 6 March 1991 to the 15th.
I will turn in my uniforms and county-issued equipment as to your instructions.
As we discussed, I leave this agency for Gillespie County Sheriff's Department
in attempting to provide a better financial base for my family and myself. I
leave Kerrville and Kerr County with warmest regards toward the citizens and
employees of all [he local governmental agencies.
Sheriff, I extend to you my heart-felt thanks and appreciation for the
priviledge of having worked for Kerr County Sheriff's Department. You have
been top-notch, professional and the best employer I've had the good fortune
to work for.
