The Honorable Court:
Due to the mandate of the Kerr Couttty Environmental Health Department I am
having to install a new septic sy=stem at my property at Marymeade, 7 miles
West of Hunt. Upon investigating acid trying to reach a solution, it has been
determined that afield line of considerable footage will be needed requiring
crossing both the 2 lots I own (Marymeade Addition, lots 39 and 40). The house.
is on lot 90. The lots are on separate surveys and one recommendation is I
resurvey the lots combining them so the .field line would not encumber lot 39.
I feel this is unreasonable and serves no good purpose so far as my usage. I
bought lot 39 after the purchase of the house on lot 40, since I did not have
adequate room to accommodate vehicles, etc.
I therefore am requesting your assistance for a variance or otherwise some
relief as described. I am perfectly willing to make a commitment where the
properties would be as one so far as ownership is concerned.
I have paid the Kerr County Health Department the 5100,00 permit fee, have had
the soil drilled and have been told everything is in order to proceed with
installation, which I would like to do as soon as possible. Your assistance
is vitally needed.
I understand the court will meet November 12, 1991. I can be present if
needed. In the neeantime I have talked to Mr. Bruce Oehler, my Commissioner,
and he has visited the premises to examine my situation and has indicated he
is willing to be of assistance. Please contact me at my address in Austin or
