THE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE FOR 1992-1993
On this the 9th day of March 1991, upon motion made by Commissioner
Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the Court UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED
BY A VOTE OF 4-0-0, to approve the application to the State for the
Narcotics Task Force, authorization for the County Judge's signature
and funding for the budget year 1992-1993 will be $1,742.25.

Application to be submitted to the Criminal Justice Division of
the Office of the Governor to continue participating in the
cooperative effort to combat illicit drug distribution has been
completed.
The total cash project applied for is $528,427.00 with 75°s being
funded by federal funds ($396,320.00) and 25$ being funded by
participating agencies ($132,107.00) as in past grants awarded.

INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT REVIEW AND APPROVAL
STATE OF TEXAS
This Agreement is entered into by and between Kerr
County, Bandera County, Kendall County, Gillespie County,
political subdivisions of the State of Texas, hereinafter
referred to as "Counties" and the City of Kerrville, a municipal
corporation situation in Kerr County, Texas; City of Bandera a
municipal corporation situated in Bandera County; City of
Boerne, a municipal corporation situated in Kendall County; City
of Fredericksburg, a municipal corporation situated in Gillespie
County, Texas hereinafter called "Cities", pursuant to the
Interlocal Cooperation Act, Art., 4413 (32C), Tex. Rev. Civ.
Stat. (Vernon's 1976).
WHEREAS, the "Counties" and "Cities" have agreed to
contribute the total of $132,107 in matching funds if said joint
application is approved; and
WHEREAS, the source of funds would not normally be used
for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the "Counties" and "Cities" believe it to be in
their best interests to join in the applications to develop an
areas Narcotics Task Force.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE I
PURPOSE
1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to allow "Counties" and
"Cities" to file joint applications for a Narcotics Task Force
Grant, with the Criminal Justice Division, which creates the
216th JUDICIAL DISTRICT NARCOTICS TASK FORCE which application
is attached hereto as exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all
purposes.
ARTICLE II
TERM
2.01 The term of this Agreement is to commence on the
execution of this Agreement and to end May 31, 1993.
ARTICLE III
CONSIDERATION
3.01 As consideration of this Agreement, "Counties" and
"Cities" agree to contribute a total of $129,340 in matching
funds (in-kind) for the enhancement of the 216th Judicial
District Narcotics Task Force.
ARTICLE IV
OWNERSHIP OF EQUIPMENT
4.01 Upon termination of this Agreement, ownership of equipment
hardware, and other non-expendable items will revert to the
applicant for which it was acquired, subject of the approval of
the Criminal Justice Division of the State of Texas.

5.01 This Agreement; may be amended by the mutual agreement of
the parties hereto in writing to be attached to and
incorporated into this agreement.
ARTICLE VI
LEGAL CONSTRICTIONS
6.01 In case any one or more the provisions contained in this
Agreement shall be held be be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable
in any respect such invalidity, illegality or unenforceable
shall be affect any other provision had never been contained
herein.
ARTICLE VII
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
7.01 This Agreement supersedes any and all other agreements,
either oral or in writing, between the parties hereto with
respect to the subject matter hereof, and no other agreement,
statement, or promise relating to the subject matter of this
Agreement which is not contained herein shall be valid or
binding. statement, or promise relating to the subject matter of

EXECUTED IN DUPLICATE ORIGINALS, EACH OF WHICH SHALL HAVE THE
FULL FORCE AND EFFECT OF AN ORIGINAL, ON THIS THE 9th

COOPERATIVE WORKING AGREEMENT
This is to certify that the objectives of the 216th Judicial
District Narcotics Task Force grant application for fiscal year
funding by the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's
Office have been reviewed and that it is mutually agreed to
cooperate to whatever extent is necessary in carrying out the
work plan described in that application.
Additionally, 216th Judicial District Narcotics Task Force is
cognizant of the rules and regulations governing the operation
of the grant and agrees to abide any and all such rules or
special conditions relating to the application.
