P. ALLISON, herein called "LESSOR" and COUNTY OF KERR, herein called "LESSEE", a political subdivision of the State of Texas, acting herein through its duly authorized representative, HONORABLE WILLIAM G. STAGY, JR., in his capacity as County Judge of Kerr County, Texas, and on behalf of the Commissioner's Court of Kerr County, Texas, in consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained, hereby agree as follows: 1. Recitals. Lessor and Lessee previously entered into a Lease Agreement (the "Lease Agreement") dated December 30, 1987, for the lease of certain property and the improvements thereon (collectively herein called "Property") upon the terms and conditions therein contained. Lessor and Lessee desire to extend the term of such Lease. 2. Extension Controls. In event of conflict between the provisions contained in this Extension of Lease Agreement and the original Lease Agreement, the provisions contained herein shall control. 3. New Term of Lease. The term of Lease Agreement is hereby extended to run for one year, commencing February 1, 1991 and extending through 12:00 midnight on January 31, 1992. 4. Consideration. Lessee agrees to pay the total consideration for the one year lease term of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND NO/100TH5 ($18,900.00) DOLLARS, which shall be paid in equal monthly installments of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE AND NO/100THS ($1,575.00) DOLLARS, in advance, with the first such installment to be paid on February 1, 1991, and a like installment to be paid on the first day of each month thereafter until the total consideration is paid in full. Payments shall be made to A. P. ALLISON, at his residence address of 1214 Jackson Road, Kerrville, Texas 78028, or at such other place and to such other person as he or as his duly authorized representatives may from time to time direct. 5. Renewal. If Lessee desires to renew the lease term Lessee shall give Lessor written notice thereof in person or by United States Mail, on or prior to December 31, 1991, of its desire to extend the Lease upon such terms as may be thereafter mutually agreed between Lessor and Lessee. atjMISCJ4/EAWJjs 6. Alterations and Modifications. It is understood that Lessor has completed all obligations for alteration and modification contemplated by the original Lease Agreement and has no further obligation in that regard. 7. Ratification and Confirmation. The parties hereto expressly ratify and confirm the provisions of the original Lease Agreement except as modified by this Extension of Lease Agreement. Provisions contained in the prior Extension of Lease Agreement dated January 29, 1990, between the parties shall be of no further force and effect.
