With this pay period the County is required to pay FIC'.A on travel expense and she would like to know where she is to take the counties half from far this expense. M. AND COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN A WORKSHOP on allocation of office space. Commissioner Holekamp introduced Jae Stevenson, a local architect, who had donated his time to the County to draw a diagram of a possible salution to relocating several offices. He feels this salution would not require a big capital outlay at one time and would utilize space we have as best we can. He suggested enclosing the parking area underneath the Courthouse and in phase 1, move the Tax Assessor/Collector's Office to the right side of the new offices underneath; move the Sheriff's Office to the back of the present office of the Tax Assessor/Collector's Office, and the County Court at Law clerks to the front of the present Tax Office near the County Court at Law.
