At present they are only responding to bite calls and it is taking a fourth o£ their time with most calls occurring nights and weekends. The Court told Mr. Litke no to his request at this time. Mr. Litke said he would be back with his request at budget time. •Z Mr. Litke also presented the Court with his monthly report for January .L991. No action was taken thru Court. ,'j The Court discussed future needs for solid waste and the possibility of having a regional problem if the surrounding counties ran out o£ landfill. The Court also decided each Commissioner would meet with the Volunteer Fire Departments in their Precincts, rather than a joint meeting with all the departments to discuss any problems. Judge Stacy reported that the Assistant County Attorney was looking into the ~~ounty takiny over Tivy Mountain by eminent domain so the County can give it to someone to care tor.
