A discussion of the Animal Welfare Society's contract with
the county followed. Judge Stacy is to talk to the people u,
charge of the Welfare Society and try to work out the
problems, while Commissioner Lackey is to talk to the local
veterinarians aGOUt contracts with the County on housing oI
animals.

Y.M. to visit with and interview architects for overseeing
and designing office space in the basement. parking area.
.3 The Auditor reported that the budgets in both the County
Ulerk's and District Clerk's Offices are short the necessary
funds for the civil Case management and criminal case
management packages from Software Group. Software has
verbally agreed to accept the funds in the current budget and
allow the County to pay the remaining balance in next year's
budget. Butn offices were quoted 55,500.00 for the package
but neither office was told of the base license fee of of
53,00.00. `Phe auditor is to write a letter to Software
Group and request a representative come to Kerrville to meet
with Commissioners' Gourt to negotiate the price of the
packages and Kerr County being a test site for ttainrng.
