WRITING A LETTER TO H. RITMAN JONS WITHDRAWING
THE ORIGINAL OFFER IN REFERENCE TO R. C. SUBLETT, JR.
On this the 28th day of March 1991, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 to authorize
Stan Reid, Assistant County Attorney, to write a letter to
Mr. H. Ritman Jona, Attorney at Law, withdrawing the County's
original offer in reference to R. C. Sublett, Jr.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED at 5:21 P. M.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on Friday,
March 29, 1991 at 2:00 P. M. with Commissioner's Morgan and
Holekamp present, and Commissioner's Lackey and Oehler and
Judge Stacy absent. There being no quorum, Mr. Morgan and
Mr. Holekamp visited informally with Mr. Johnston and Mr.
Odom explaining that the Commissioners' Court seta the
policies, the Road Engineer gives directives, and the
Administrator sees that the directives are carried into the
field and done. The County Judge arrived at 2:45 P. M. making
a quorum and the Court unaniaoualy aQrvvd 3-0-0 to hire Mr.
Johnston as the Kerr County Road Engineer on a full time ae
needed basis, and Mr. Odom as the Kerr County Road
Administrator full time, pending on both men passing their
physicals and completing the necessary paper work. Mr. Odom

will continue to live in Caetorville for a few months until
( school is out, and the County will pay for his gas traveling
to and from work. When he arrives in Kerr County each
morning, he will park his personal car and use a County
vehicle. Moving expenses for Mr. Odom will be addressed at
the time of relocation.
