COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on Tuesday, April 30, 1991 at 9:05 A.H. with all officers present, and the Court having duly opened the following proceedings were had: The Court met with George Lovett, Architect, Phil Furman, Stan Reid, Assistant County Attorney, and Deputy Gary Chapman from the Sheriff's Office to discuss the plans and designs for office additions to the County Courthouse. ORDER NO. 20226 CONTRACT BETWEEN KERR COUNTY AND GEORGE LOVETT, ARCHITECT, ACCEPTED AS APPROVED BY THE ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY AND AUTHORIZATION TO ISSUE A HAND CHECK TO MR. LOVETT On this the 30th day of April 1991, came on to be considered by the Court the contract between Kerr County and George Lovett, Architect, far office additions to the Kerr County l Courthouse. On motion made by Commissioner Oehler, seconded by Commissioner Lackey the Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 to accept the contract as approved by the Assistant County Attorney, Stan Reid, and authorization for a hand check for 20% of the 7 1/2% design fee on the estimated construction cost of 592,000.00. The County Treasurer and the County auditor are hereby authorized to draw a voucher on Line Item No. 70-675-560 for 51.380.00 made payable to George Lovett. The Court told Mr. Lovett to make the suggested revisions to the blueprints and bring them back to the Court for final approval prior to advertising for bide.
