ORDER NO. 20E~13 CONSIDERATION OF PLACEMENT OF THE WAR MEMORIAL TO BE F'LRCED ON 7HE COURT4iDUSE SG~UARE On this the i5th day of October 1991, upon motion made 6y Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the Court approved by a majority vote of 3-1-0, to r•ecind Or^der- No. 2027, and have Deser°t 5tor-m Organisation, Mike Walker, and the Historical Commission to work oat the most appropriate location of the War^ Memorial and come back to the Court with a recommendation of the location and placement of the War Memorial with Commissioner Dehler opposing. Motion was made by Commissioner Oehler that we grant the Constr-action of the War Memorial and it be centrally located between the fountain and the western entrance of the Co~_~rtho~.ise Sq'.iare. This motion failed and Commissioner Morgan made a motion to have a plan for f~.~ture monuments and maintenance and lighting were also discussed. pRGE 444
