ORDER NO. 20662 CONSIDERRTION RND DISCUSSION OF RESTORRTION DF COURTHOUSE RND WINDOWS On this the 12th day of November 1991, upon motion made by Commissioner^ Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Holekamp, the Cour^t unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to adopt Guidelines for the rest or^ation of the Courthouse and windows and to adver^tise for^ bids after^ the guidelines have been established. pRGE 472 ~, ( Consideration and disc~.assion of moving Extension Offices to ~,/ the Hill Country Exhibition Center and having the. Attorneys that ar-e now in the leased building (Allison Puilding) across the street move into the Extension Office Rrea. There is less space in the Exhibition Center and Jerry Thompson thinks the move would not be feasible. The offices that are at the Exhibition Center ar-e not always used but when there is activity there the offices are utilized. Eddie Holland stated that he didn't know if he would want some of the people that work for "SWAG" Progam coming in and out of there offices with all the equipment they have. Judge Stacy stated he was trying to save money and looking for some positive input. Tammy Tomlinson addressed the Court with an idea of using the ball park area to build a building an to hold the Detention Genter- and the Extension Office. Commissioner Mor^gan stated that it would be better if we would build our own building and leave the Exhibition Center- alone and not disturb there operations. Mr. Thompson stated they would do what ever was passible to help the County work this problem out because the County had always helped them with there financial r^e sponsibilities. We have always had a good working relationship with the County and didn't want that to stop. Commissioner- Morgan and Jerr^y Thompson are looking for creative ways to remedy the problem and utilizing the Exhibition Center- better. ORDER NO. 20E63 CONSIDERRTION OF REGrUES7 TO RPRNDON PART DF KELLY CREEK ftORD On this the loth day of November 1991, upon motion made by Commissioner- Oehler^, seconded by Commissioner- Holekamp, the Co~_ir^t unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0~ to abandon 6s feet south of Rlice C. Simkins property line in Kerr County to the end of the road. Ms. Simkins will dedicate to Kerr County, an easement and right-of-way forming a turnaround at what will be the end of the road on her property in Survey No. 1885. This portion will no longer 6e maintained by the County and this change is subject to submission of a deed from Ms. Simkins to Kerr County.
