seconded by Car¢nissioner Oehler, the Court UNANII~YJUSLY APPROVED BY A VOTE OF 4-0-0,
to accept the resignation of E. Burke Huber, Jr. effective December 20, 1991.
Commissioner Holekamp stated that everyone appreciated all the work that he has
done for the County.

AS ASSISTANT COUNTY ATPORNEY
IN THE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
On this the 23rd day of December 1991, upon motion made by Commissioner Holekamp,
seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the Court UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED BY A VOTE OF 4-0-0,
to approve the hiring of Ilse Dunbar Bailey, effective January 6, 1992, with an
Annual Salary of $30,000.00 in the County Attorney's Office.

Discussion of Variance of two (2) lots in Hill River Estates in Center Point to
cross lot lines for a septic systan. The lots are approximately 30' x 75' and
it takes two or three lots to set a mobile bane on them. These lots are being
sold but we need a variance of the Kerr County Enviromental Health Department Rules
Ldn3les and Regulations cfor the plac~uU of a septic: tank. The decision is pending
on David Litke's recacmiendation and whether or not the best thing to do with these
small lots would be to replat.

Consideration of Reclassification of the position of County Engineer to full-time
status.
NIr. Franklin Johnston addressed the Court with various reasons needing to have a
full-time Engineer. The Court was impressed with Mr. Johnston's presentation,
but there were a few questions the Court had before they could make a decision on
whether there is a need for full-time Engineer.
