Bon 1278 Kerrville, Texas 7802&7278 512-89G5445 28 January 1992 ~~ ~M The Honorable Bill Stacy Kerr County Judge Kerr County Courthouse Kerrville, Texas 78028 Dear Judge Stacy: Enclosed are 5 copies of the Phase I Report of the Kerr County Regional Water Plan. Copies have also been submitted to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). The UGRA has been advised by TWDB that matching funding for completion of Phase II of the Regional Water Plan are available and that work may proceed. Appendix E, starting at Page E-1, is the proposed Kerr County Water Conservation Plan. It is envisioned in the report that this Water Conservation Program be initiated through adoption of this Water Conservation Plan by resolution by all of the Kerr County Regional Water Plan Sponsors. (See page E-12). It is requested that copy of an appropriate resolution be provided the UGRA so soon as practicable. As you can note in Section 8 (page 8-1) the consultant has started on the Phase II work. A more detailed scope of work for each task will be provided next week. The Executed Agreement for Joint Sponsorship of Kerr County Regional Water Supply Study (12 December 1990) specifies that "At the conclusion of Phase I, the Sponsors agree to proceed to Phase II, subject to receipt of TWDB funding for the biennium beginning 1 September 1991 and each sponsor's budget approval of the respectively identified funding: In Ingram - $3,000; Kerrville - $5,000; Court - $5,000; UGRA - $12,000 and $15,000 Services in Rind". The provision as soon as possible~of the identified Phase II funding for the Court, would be appreciated. The Consultant advises they should have information ready for the Management Committee review during March 1992. If you have questions, please contact me. Sincerely, B. W. Bruns, P.E.
